                      I can't remember any of that and I lived through that time period .... of course we didn't have TV until the late 60's in our home so missed the adverts ... thank goodness.

                        I remember our first colour tv. Sat and watched it for hours and hours, marveling at the difference when watching football or snooker ( not cricket )
