    Eat well, stay active, be curious, cultivate friendships, don't take silly things seriously, appreciate loved ones, enjoy yourself,..and everything else in moderation.

      I agree Roger. Since we are growing older we must be more careful what we eat and drink. Exercising our bodies in nature may help too. We should not be angry; high blood pressure is a dangerous friend!!!

        I used to tell people who got upset no to worry; they would learn to be calm after their first heart attack or stroke.

                  I am 48 years old. I have 1 or 2 goals every year. The goals include climbing 3000 meters mountains, running 12KM marathons. I have climbed a 3886 meters mountain and a 6KM marathons this year. I will train myself like running or weight training. I don't eat too much. My blood pressure is from 14* down to 11*. I know that it is good for me.

                      Ironically, today I am in a foul mood (though keeping it mostly to myself except where I am writing it in public) and usually, I am very easy-going as evidencd by my silly posts. So I may be passing away soon. If not, I will continue my exercise of walking a couple miles/few kilometers 3 times a week and reduction of cslories and erasure of most sugar.

                        We should maintain our walking throughout our lives ..... at about 100 paces a minute is recommended.
