I haven't really liked any TV cooking shows since Good Eats went off the air. I just want to watch people cooking delicious food (and maybe learn something), and it seems like it's all reality TV anymore, with manufactured drama and people screaming at each other.

TV chefs have to tap into the social media market. Harumi Kurihara has "published more than 90 titles and has issued a phenomenal 19 million books" (Award 2004) and magazines. Why do people love watching her on the Japanese Satellite TV station NHK World? Because she explains everything with a smile and always has a guest taster. Chef John from Foodwishes, also Kenji from Serious Eats.

Gordon Ramsay is very good but not when he is screaming.

I like to cook. I read interesting recipes on the Internet. Recently I found a good application Cookbook Recipes on the phone, I like that there you can select the ingredients and immediately appear the recipes. I often dine in a restaurant, where you can also find a recipe for salad or soup. I would really like to take a cookery course somewhere..
