            I disagree with it either. Sure, some people never miss the chance to get drunk but it cannot be said about all people. Parties are for gathering together to stay in a good company and if the company is good, people just have a good time, some might not drink at all.

                  It depends. I love cold whiskey (without cola!) but I usually drink colorful drinks with friends. I like tequila also and beer (indian/american pale ale).

                          Gin without tonic taste terrible. Even with a cheap tonic (2L bottle for 0,30 cent) taste a good gin not like it should.
