Roger, you with your age should know that, but maybe you have some deficits in this point.
You are right in most of what you say, above. I have no deficit, either financial or otherwise. I’m a naturally happy person and I use money to spread my joy to others. Money doesn’t really buy happiness but it certainly helps make life more enjoyable.

Do you want my Bahama or Swiss bank account?
Participation in your financial happiness is for me happy enough

My opinion on political correctness isn't really manners, simply because I have seen and heard those who scream political correctness use some of the most vile behavior and language from them. Political correctness is a false premise to bully and harangue others who know true manners. Instead these PC pearl clutching , fainting, "Aunt Pittypats, Dolley Merriweathers (look up Gone with the Wind preferably the confederate ball scene). They use their ideas of right and wrong on their terms.

Society over it's evolution of growth has created within its culture rules and traditions by which the game is played. Most people agreed. However, these little toddlers come along and they aren't winning at the game very well, so they are trying to change the rules and get people to join with them. So then they back the Wicked Witch of the West and become the flying monkeys to harm those following the rules and manners and playing the roles appropriately.

PC is just a way to bludgeon, bully, and terrorize others with words and false manners. I suggest people examine proper manners and study why these manners were codified into rule books. They do vary some are not in complete agreement, but one thing is for sure we have to stop worrying about offending people with certain facts and truth.

There are other things according to the rule of manners that is not for us to mention as well, because certain things are between spouses, doctor and patient, parent and child. Even some experiences are to be private between counselor and patient because in your story is someone else's story not for you to be a tale bearer of.

PC is an attempt to remove the "old" moral code and replace it predominately with the moral code imagined by the early socialist philosophers that saw socialism as a religion not an economic policy, and as such needed to have it's own moral system not derived from Judeo/Christian ideology. Even Benjamin Franklin in America saw the benefits of studying the Bible as a means of developing a sound character and good citizenship. Look at Proverbs, Beatitudes and even the Olivet Discourse (where Jesus condemned all the Pharisees acting all holier than thou but inside were decaying flesh). A lot of these PC people are like the Pharisees. But it's a warning to not be like them. Not to judge people by your own standard etc, make sure you've removed your own plank before looking at the speck in your brother's eyes. And unless your perfect don't go casting stones. Look through all ancient literature you will see the same things and concepts.

PC creates tribes, like Sneetches with Stars on their bellies and those without.

Well. Nothing's sacred. It's all for sale. Political Correctness? Pricing is unfair. Hypocrites, thieves, crooks and bandits. Cheapest protect them. An American Negro puts me a $ 100 price tag on the Internet. I agree:"Crimea is Ukraine! Thank The Jews! Death to Islamists! Glory to USA!". You applaud ... but (for every) 100 dollars will be given to Jews. You applaud violently. Why are they doing this? Cheap people do not understand that they will not become more expensive. Cowardly zombies.

Political Correctness is one of the most infuriating things about being white and living in Western Europe. Progressive Left is like cancer, except that I would rather have cancer than be a progressive liberal.

I'd rather you get it than me. I'm much better looking so it'd be a pity if I was to die.

Political correctness = self-censorship = fear of yourself.
Fear of free speech = censorship = fear of the reality

Most political correct people change their opinion as far as the wind begins to blow from another direction. People who are living in ex communist countries know that better than all others. It isn't that way that those people want to destroy to begin everyone with contrary opinion. No, they can use those people for their benefits as far as those people aren't eloquent and aren't able to lead proper discussions.
Opposition has a very beneficial value for people which have a "proper" opinion in relation current political correctness. An echo chamber of you're right sayer marginalizes their opinion, this very counter productive for them at the end.
However those people hate if people with better arguments, better examples and better rhetoric oppose their so superior opinions. It leads from the side of political correct people often to intimidation, ad hominen, insults, or they try to deflect an discussion into absurdity. After all those strategies failed, because the amount of people with different opinion is too high, comes the desire after censorship and harsh punishment for "mind-crimes".

If you observe some countries in earlier so tolerant wester Europe, on what stage those countries seem to be at the moment?

I think people should loosen up in general. I know people who would joke about their cancer. I would too if I was in their situation, it's easier to handle if you can joke about it. I think that's true of other issues and horrible things as well. Wouldn't you rather laugh than cry?

Well, freedom of speech is a good thing, but I also think that that doesn't mean you necessarily have to say everything that you think. I mean, I feel that those who seem to hate this concept of "politcal correctness" are often not shy to throw the most racist, sexist, mean insults at other people. And when other people correct them they go and bring up "politcal correctness" and whine about how hard it is to be white, European man. Such people, in my personal experience do not care that much about freedom of speech, only about their own freedom of speech (or rather freedom to insult other people); They usually do not want to hear opposite viewpoints.
La tête en bas et les pieds en l'air ! Oh lÃ* lÃ* !

Sure if you consider saying migration is a problem as racism, there is a lot of racism.

However it's hypocrite to say people claiming to want "freedom of speech" = people who want to claim their racism and flooding you with insult without wanting to hear opposite opinions. Firstly because you assume that you can't be politically correct and insult people and play a parody of the three wise monkeys while it's, in fact, a speciality of some heroes of political correctness and secondly because you assume that political correctness is a good thing because it's a bridle to dangerous or wrong ideas/claims, that is not opposed to the political correctness.

The problem with this last point is that freedom can't be bridle at all or it's not freedom. Either you assume to support an authoritarian position in order to support your morality and you viewpoint or you let the other tells whatever they want to say.

For now I've been insulted from every side equally, and giving another point of view was globally the same in both side, a majority who get acne eruptions and some people who are aware to discuss. There was more arrogance from one side thou, while there was more anger on the other.
