I prefer the older ones like Gilligan's Island or Happy Days but the Revolution TV serious was pretty good. It is set in a post-apocalyptic world where there is no electricity thanks to nano-machines that prevent it from being generated.

I think my all time favorite TV serious would be Sliders where a group of people slide between different parallel universes.

Second choice would be Firefly with the cannibalistic Reavers that made very creepy bad guys.

Also, binge watching Netflix originals... especially marvel's Defenders (Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Daredevil and Iron Fist)

The first few seasons of Walking Dead made it one of my favorites. Once they stopped wondering around and decided to hold up at the prison then the story became more a drama among humans than a zombie survival horror so I started losing interest in it.

True Detective, having movie actors in it was amazing. Just one closed season so nothing you get tied into and watch slow die year after year. First season I highly recommend. Then Sopranos, Westworld. HBO are pretty good imo.

I really love Black Mirror. It’s pretty paychological in nature. Lots of hidden meanings and the director does an amazing job depicting the woes of society in subtle ways.
