  • Erdogan calling Germans and Germany "Nazi" - but who are the REAL Nazis here?

It seems that Turkish president Erdogan has yet again been calling people names - this time Germans "Nazis" because German authorities have prevented rallies on the upcoming referendum to give Erdogan essentially dictatorial powers as president of Turkey:

    https://www.theguardian.com/world/20...ection-rallies

The reasons for the Germans refusing rallies in several locales seem quite legitimate - in that rally organisers had lied about the purposes of the rally or that the chosen venue would not accommodate the crowds.

On the other hand, there are numerous reports of Imams and others in Germany are being directed by the Turkish authorities to spy on other Turks living in Germany and to report back to Turkish consulates and embassies, for example:

Now, the question must be asked - who are the real Nazis here?
    • A Turkish president demanding rallies in Germany to promote a referendum in which he gets pretty much totalitarian powers and who seems to have a whole network of spies watching over Turks living in Germany and essentially intimidating them or
    • Germans exercising what is their sovereign right as a nation not to have foreign nationals spying or holding political rallies relating to matters not of concern to the German nation?

And even the "popular" rallies themselves - not appearing at that "popular" rally meaning getting a report sent back to home in Turkey... all reported back as being a "Gulenist".

This really is very 1930s Germany.. and hugely ironic in that it is occurring in Germany when Germany has pretty much gotten over that sort of thing.

For me personally it's just another point why immigration from instable Islamic countries is a bad thing. You have literally a parallel society what fights their political war inside your country.

In the article, the reasons given for shutting down the rally were security concerns.

It sounds like the Social Democratic Germany is showing their authoritative side so not 'Nazi' but being oppressive via their crazy leftist policies.

But, asking who the real nazi is not the point and shouldn't be. What was glossed over and is a much more significant point is how insane it has been to get to this scenario in the first place. Turks went to Germany to be foreign workers and people were lied to (I believe the government told the people, "when they're 'done', they'll go home." It never happened. Despite the government calling them Germans (lol), they never integrated. There are Turkish enclaves and sufficient evidence of their hostility towards Germans (some youtube videos even show it, explicitly) and generally speaking, Turks are connected and drawn to Turkey (they are allegiant to Turkey). It's not a big surprise Turkey's President would send 'spies' to try and drum up support for various legislation and agendas in Turkey. Germany allowed it to get to that.

But, we're not done. Now, Germany wants to include Turkey as part of the Euro zone/EU and are PAYING THEM to slow down the travel route of migrants via Turkey into Europe (who are heading to Germany). Then, there are allegations that Turkey is helping terrorists along their borders etc. etc. It goes on and on. The point, is that Germany's LEFTIST insanity allows and promotes all this and the irony is they claim they believe in democracy and 'freedom of speech.' It's very sad that the people are being indoctrinated by insane politicians and authorities.

When Erdogan calls the government, 'Nazis', it's just what you do when you disagree with a decision by the government but the authorities' reaction is anti-democratic but it's crazy that they had to shut down rallies in the first place. Germany is destroying their country and have no trouble utilizing anti-democratic procedures when it suits them.

All Islamic political parties start out as "democratic" - until they get power. Their idea of democracy is support for democracy until they win power at the ballot box - usually by mobilising their headbanging congregations in mosque to assemble at polling stations to vote en masse.

Once they have the numbers, it's then game over for deocracy - unless the army steps in to protect the secular system like has happened in Egypt recently when the Muslim Brotherhood looked like it was going to establish a theocracy or the army in Turkey stepping in.
