So.. we are in war with Islam?
Because this is my conclusion about your comment.

France is in war with ISIS, both being legally easy to define entities involved mutually in illegal actions.

Then you endlessly whine about "Assad still being in power"

Intresting case of moral relativism from your side, actually you are the one who supports introducing "freedom" in the middle east and exactly those military interventions.

You continually whine but don't offer any genuine workable suggestions how to change the things you bitch about.

You are equating conventional war and terrorist attakcs?

Which conventional war are you talking about? The illegal French military operations across the Middle East? In that case yes, they and ISIS are both committing war crimes.

War, war crimes and terrorism are three different categories. If France committed war crimes, it should be investigated by international court. Terrorism is never justified or acceptable. You are relativizing crimes and seek justification for terrorism.

Terrorism against civilians is a whole different thing, what France is doing here is bombing these guys non-stop for 3 years and then pretending shocked when they strike back. What happened was President Hollande selling a war under false pretenses and the French public being too disinterested to question the implications of such a military adventure. You can argue that even an illegal war against ISIS would be somehow justified as they are all terrorists anyway, but even so it's delusional to think that you can fight a war against anyone without the other side shooting back.

The thing is not that the French expected noone shooting back. These are criminals, the French don't expect anything from them, they are destroying them. Anything they do is never justified, and outrage about it is always reasonable.

mmh, why then is Assad accused of human rights violations. I could bet he didn't even kill civilians on purpose. War is war and everything is allowed inclusive killing civilians as an only target, isn't it? Geneva never existed.
When we define this as a war, then it should be our first duty to remove their recruting basis from our soil....instantly.

Killing civilians is not justified, but naturally in a war the winning side invariably gets away with it. Bringing the ISIS leaders or Assad to the Hague is not impossible, with George W. Bush or Hollande that's more difficult.

I read on several sites that the cop was member of an lgbt cops support group. Probably an unfortunate coincidence but some homophobic vultures are going to swallow their RIPs back.
