  • EU about to start infringement procedure against Poland, Hungary and Czech Republic

    http://uk.reuters.com/article/uk-eur...9313G?rpc=401&

Poland and Hungary have refused to take in a single person under a plan agreed in 2015 to relocate 160,000 asylum-seekers from Italy and Greece, which had been overwhelmed by mass influx of people from the Middle East and Africa.
The most annoying in the whole thing however is this quote from Juncker:
"The decision hasn't been made yet, but I will say this: I am for it - not to make a threat, but to make clear that decisions that have been made are applicable law ... At issue here is European solidarity, which cannot be a one-way street."
This fascist, this hypocrite and a liar dares to speak of solidarity now and at the same time does not care about Polish protests against Nord Stream 2. Yes solidarity is not a one way street, exactly

Poland is free to shut down all the pipelines going through its territory if it wishes to do so.

Solidarity in what exactly? If Poland is against gas pipelines then it will have to shut down its own ones before demanding anyone else to shut down theirs.

Merkel has invited those refugees without asking us if we want them, now she has to deal with her own problem.

You're being serious right now, or just playing a fool? This one pipeline is problematic, not all of them, and that's because it doesn't go through Polish territory. What if Russians now stop using Yamal pipeline? EU has officially fucked us, by the way, it fucked Ukraine as well.

Of course, Poland needs to hold its position and not to move an inch. If you agree to take just some refugees, the import will not stop.

How is it a problem if it doesn't go through Polish territory? I can't think of any legitimate reason to find that problematic.

I already told you where's the problem. Suppose Russians will turn off yamal pipeline. Where are we supposed to buy gas now? From Germany?

Because it will be more expensive just by the fact Germans will be reselling it

Sounds like free market economy to me, buy from whomever sells the cheapest. If that's not Germany then try Saudi Arabia instead.

So as I said, when it's convenient EU speaks of solidarity, and when it's convenient EU speaks of free market, everything is clear, thx

Solidarity doesn't mean freebies, you'll need to pay for your gas the same as everyone else.

Solidarity means not creating situations when Poland has to buy from resellers, when (at enough good will from EU - because it's possible to build this pipeline through Poland) it could buy from the producer for better money.
